• Scherff-Bradley

Sam Scherff, Wichita Falls, Texas, wed Lisa Bradley, Austin, Texas, on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at the Doubletree Hotel in Austin before John Schneider.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry Bradley, Stillwater, and the late Anne Bradley. The groom is the son of Carter and Sandra Scherff, Lexington, Texas.

Matron of honor was Joan Taylor, Austin. Best man was Chris Schneider, Round Rock, Texas.

Flower girl was Catalina Bradley. Ring bearer was Brian Bradley, the bride’s son. Candlelighter was Bonnie (Ripley) Bradley.

The couple will take a honeymoon cruise in May 2007 to the Caribbean. They will live in Wichita Falls.

The bride graduated from Stillwater High School and Oklahoma State University. The groom is studying manufacturing engineering at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls.



• Blankenship-Buford

Eric Blankenship wed Kori Buford on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, in Methow Valley, Mazama, Wash.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Betsy Buford, Seattle, Wash.; Tim and Nona Sizemore, Perkins; and Dave Blankenship, Stillwater.

Flower girl was Satori-Lane Ryland Marral. Ringbearer was Brysun Paddock.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and will live in Seattle, Wash.

The bride graduated from Western Washington University in 2005. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geography and is a fire ecologist for Nature Conservancy.

The groom graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1998 with a degree in forestry and from Shoreline Community College in 2005 with a degree in nursing. He works in the Swedish Medical Center emergency department.



• Goodno-Winkle

Sam Goodno wed Chana Winkle at 8 p.m. July 14, 2006, at Marland Mansion in Ponca City before the Rev. Steve Roach.

The bride is the daughter of Christi and Steve Roach, Stillwater, and Rocky and Cindy Winkle, Midwest City. She is the granddaughter of Marilyn King, Stillwater; Roland Sodowsky, Pittsburg, Kan.; Bruce Winkle, Oklahoma City; Bette Sanders, Checotah; and Charles and Ginger Roach, Texhoma.

The groom is the son of JoAnn Goodno, Newkirk, and the late Lonnie “Butch” Goodno. He is the grandson of Hoot and Sue Goodno, Ponca City, and Joe and Della Nunn, Newkirk.

Bridesmaids were Wytni Sodowsky, Stillwater, and Melissa Garner, Mesquite, Texas. Groomsmen were Joey Goodno and Jacob Goodno, both of Bartlesville.

Flower girl was Christina Ardavin, Phoenix, Ariz. Ringbearer was William Mott, Newkirk. Ushers were Zac Winkle, Stillwater, and Luke Robertson, Newkirk.

The couple honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and will live in Tulsa, where the bride teaches at Zarrow International School in Tulsa Public Schools.



• Spiva-Blansett

Aaron Spiva and Wendy Blansett, both of Stillwater, wed Aug. 26, 2006, at 7 p.m. in Eagle Heights Baptist Church before Jimmy Kinnaird.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Janet Blansett, Morrison. The groom is the son of David Spiva, Perkins, and Sue and George Roberson, Stillwater.

Maid of honor was Amy Felton, North Richland Hills, Texas. Best man was Jeff Spiva, Stillwater.

Bridesmaids were Jeanita Kearns-Shook, Stillwater; Donna Byram, Perkins; and Angela Blansett, Blanchard. Groomsmen were Rick Runowski, Tulsa, and Matt Parcell and John Wiley, both of Stillwater.

Flower girls were Kayla Felton, North Richland Hills, and Kristina Runowski, Tulsa. Honorary flower girls were Amelia Blansett, Blanchard, and Sarah Kearns-Shook, Stillwater. Ushers were Jay Doggett, Perkins, and Richard Shook, Stillwater.

Candlelighter was Ryan Haney, Midwest City. Guest book attendant was Sarah Roberson, Oklahoma City. Singers were Joey and Debbie Dean, Oklahoma City.

The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Caribbean and will live in Stillwater.
