— Richard Jones, Moore, wed Rashell Buxton, Stillwater, at 7 p.m. July 7, 2007, in Assembly of God Church in Meeker before the Rev. Greg Tiffany, the Rev. Frank Cargil and the Rev. Mark Davidson.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Dianna Buxton, Stillwater. She is the granddaughter of Ivan and Wanda Smith, Guymon.
The groom is the son of Richard and Eddie Jones, Oklahoma City. He is the grandson of Irene Jones, Wisner, La.
Maids of honor were Michelle House Russell, Stillwater, and Beth Cunningham Young, Sparks. Best man was Mason Rodgers, Oklahoma City.
Bridesmaids were Amber Mahon, Watauga, Texas, and Kimmie Landess, Guymon. Groomsmen were Matt Rodgers, Tecumseh; Josh Sears, Moore; and Blake Edgmon, Norman.
Flower girl was Faith Davidson, Bristol, Tenn. Ringbearer was Adam Thurston, Fort Worth, Texas.
Ushers were Brent Ophus and Doug Buxton, both of Oklahoma City, and U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Bryan Buxton, Germany.
Guest book attendant was Meredith McMillan, Sherman, Texas. Wedding coordinator was Bonnie Waters, Stillwater.
Reception hostesses were Linda Buxton, Brenda Buxton and Kevin Steiner, all of Oklahoma City.
The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, and will live in Tulsa. She teaches first grade at Westwood Broken Arrow School, and he is youth pastor at Woodlake Assembly of God Church in Tulsa and college pastor at Tulsa University.
