Bridal Policy

The NewsPress publishes news of engagements, weddings, anniversaries and births free of charge in the lifestyle section.

Forms are available at the NewsPress or .

Submissions should be typed. Illegible submissions cannot be published.

A telephone number and the name of a contact person must be included with each announcement.

The NewsPress reserves the right to edit announcements as necessary.

The preferred publication time for engagement announcements is within six weeks before the wedding date.

The preferred publication time for wedding announcements is within a month after the wedding date.

When an anniversary is to be celebrated with an event open to the public, announcements are published in advance.

Otherwise, announcements are published as close as possible to the anniversary date.

For publication the following Sunday, information must be submitted by Wednesday noon.

The NewsPress will publish one high quality vertical picture of a couple or an individual.

Only one photo will be published with each announcement.

The NewsPress does not publish photographs of newborn babies.

NewsPress offices are at 211 W. Ninth.

The front office is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday.
