• Brewer-Chapel

John Todd Brewer wed Meridith Ellen Chapel on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, in University Christian Church in Austin, Texas, before the Rev. Jeffrey Fritsche.

The bride is the daughter of Betty Thomas Chapel, Dallas, Texas, and Bill Chapel, Garland, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Virginia Thomas, Stillwater, and the late C.W. “Bill” Thomas and Mary Louise Chapel, Stillwater, and the late Raymond E. Chapel. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Brewer, Houston, Texas.

Maid of honor was Ashley Chapel. Matron of honor was Whitney Radia. Best man was Sean Crozier.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and will live in Austin.

The bride graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and is marketing manager at Lake Austin Spa and Resort. She is a member of Chi Omega and the Austin Junior League.

The groom graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and is the territory manager for a major footwear company. He is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon.



• Hern-Harris

Shawn Hern, Wakita, wed Caitlin Harris, Stillwater, on Saturday, July 1, 2006, in Lost Creek Church before John Talley.

The bride is the daughter of Keith and Gayle Harris, Stillwater. The groom is the son of Rodney and Pat Hern, Wakita.

Matron of honor was Autumn Peeper, Syracuse, Kan. Best man was Dan Hern, Stillwater.

Bridesmaids were Courtney Harris, Katie Dawson and Carla Spencer. Groomsmen were Mitchell Clark, Jonas Walls and Clay Hollander.

Flower girls were BreAnna Peeper and Carley Harris. Ringbearer was Bryce Smith. Ushers were Quinton Harris and Bill Peeper.

The couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and will live in Yukon.



• Russell-Godberson

Michael Ray Russell and Rayan Godberson, both of Pawnee, wed Saturday, July 29, 2006, at 5 p.m. in Hidden Acres in Eureka Springs, Ark.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Quilla Cameron, Idaho City, Idaho, and Gerald Godberson, El Reno, and the granddaughter of Thurman and Gladys Kitchen, Pawnee. The groom is the son of Dwight and Monee Grubb, Pawnee.

Maid of honor was Aja Davis, Edmond.

The couple honeymooned at Treehouse Cottages in Eureka Springs and will live in Pawnee.



• Dearman-Mowen

William Thomas Dearman Jr. wed Cara Elizabeth Mowen at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2006, at The Mansion at Judges Creek before the Rev. Lynn Sanders.

The bride is the daughter of John and Maryanne Mowen, Stillwater. The groom is the son of William Dearman and Pallie Dearman, both of Houston, Texas.

Maid of honor was Katherine Mowen. Best man was John Hwang.

Bridesmaids were Janine Wetzel and Abby Helman. Groomsmen were Jon Kruesi and Chris Harris.

Ushers were Matt Warren and Erik Anderson. Readers were Hallie Hutchens and Adrienne Moretti.
