Friend-Brock
Ryan David Friend, Tulsa, wed Leigh Brock, Dallas, Texas, on Saturday, July 12, 2008, in Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas before Dr. Blair Monie.
The bride is the daughter of R. Crawford and Janet Brock, Dallas. She is the granddaughter of Helen Haworth Ryan and the late Willis Carlyle Haworth and the late Dr. and Mrs. R. Crawford Brock.
The groom is the son of Dr. Jonathan D. and Mary Jane Friend II, Tulsa. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Jonathan D. Friend, Stillwater, and Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Gorishek.
Maids of honor were Helen Elizabeth Brock and Laura Chandler Brock.
Best men were Dr. Jonathan D. Friend II and Ryan Henry.
Bridesmaids were Lacy Elrod, Katie McNearney, Shaley Hoover, Jennifer Brandon, Julia MacDonald and Natalie Friend.
Groomsmen were Clint Hill, Scott Kahler, Chris Gilli, Ben Pauluhn, B.J. O’Connor and Brian Young.
The couple honeymooned in Caneel Cay on St. John and will live in Dallas.
The bride graduated from Episcopal School in Dallas and Furman University in Greenville, S.C. She is an assistant buyer for Stanley Korshak in Dallas.
The groom graduated from Metro Christian Academy in Tulsa and Furman University. He is a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual in Dallas.
