Thompson-Johnston

— Caleb John Thompson, Stillwater, wed Cara LeeAnne Johnston, Inola, on March 8, 2008, overlooking the beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The bride is the daughter of Lyndyll and Lisa Johnston, Inola. She is the granddaughter of Dewayne and Sue Johnston, Inola and the late Onelda Johnston and Barbara McClure, Inola, and the late Virgle McClure. The groom is the son of Lynn and Brenda Thompson, Stillwater. He is the grandson of Bartholomew Thompson, Stillwater, and the late Juanita Thompson and Harold and Elzora Friesen, Stillwater.
The bride’s and groom’s parents all attended the ceremony.
Johnston, a 2001 graduate of Inola High School, is a third-year medical student at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and plans to pursue a medical residency in obstetrics/gynecology upon graduation.
Thompson, a 1999 graduate of Stillwater High School, is an armed security officer at OSU Medical Center and is working towards a degree in justice administration/homeland security at Rogers State University.
The two met in 2001 at the OSU Baptist Student Union while attending school.
They live in Tulsa.
