— David Shipman, Burleson, Texas, and Nichole Ann Humphries, Edmond, wed Dec. 9, 2006, in St. Patrick Cathedral in Fort Worth, Texas, before Father New.
The bride is the daughter of Ben and Patsy Humphries, Edmond, and the granddaughter of Vern Ray and Barbara Humphries, Tonkawa, and Maxine Watkins, Stillwater.
The groom is the son of Francene and David Shipman Sr., Burleson.
Matron of honor was Rachel Houghton Woodward, Tulsa. Best man was Josh Shipman, Burleson.
Bridesmaids were Summer Shipman Johnston, Burleson; Olivia Robertson, Austin, Texas; Allison Keyser, Sugar Land, Texas; Jessica Hadwiger, Cherokee; Evelyn Cain, Laredo, Texas; and Leslie Reed, Fort Worth.
Groomsmen were Perry Dominquez, San Antonio, Texas; Eric Humphries, Lake Charles, La.; Jason McDonald and Jason Ellis, both of Fort Worth; Kevin Hayes, Waco, Texas; and Brock Johnston, Burleson.
Ushers were Carson Rasher and Richard Clamon, both of Burleson, and Gavin Taylor and Trevor Taylor, both of Bryan, Texas.
Flower girls were Maggie Shipman and Taylor Shipman, both of Burleson.
Ringbearer was Grayson Shipman, Burleson.
The couple honeymooned in Puerto Rico and will live in Burleson, where he is an attorney and she is a teacher.
