SHS competes in Tahlequah race

Stillwater High’s cross country team earned five medals — two gold, three silver and a bronze — at the Tahlequah 5K Meet on Saturday.

Kale McCoy finished second overall in the race, clocking in at 18:10 in the male 16-19 age group.

Kirsty Baze was the Lady Pioneers’ top runner, finishing second with a time of 23:51 in the female 16-19 group, while Emily Cloud placed third at 24:38. In the female 13-15 division, Katie Roark earned second with a time of 24:40.

Stillwater coach Dan Zeroski was first in the male 50-54 group with a time of 23:05, and Chris Vincent also took top honors in the male 20-24 category at 18:44. SHS heads to Enid at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
