Morrison Education Association held their academic banquet April 28. MEA President Heather Bear presented plaques to students in grades nine-12 who had maintained at least a 3.8 GPA.
Morrison Teacher of the Year Tammy Will spoke and received an inscribed bowl. Marilyn Kerr, high school, and Denise Kennedy, elementary, were recognized as having won Teacher of the Year in their area. Academic Bowl Team members were also recognized. Members of the Academic Team are Ryan Apperson, Kalynn Keith, Katie Auteri, Joseph Keith,
Zachary Fleshman, Zach Sample and Jesse Vandament.
“Oh the Places You Will Go,” by Dr. Seuss, was read by Victoria Sanders, a sixth grader.
