School orchestras present concert

Stillwater Public Schools orchestras will present “Symphony in the Spring” Sunday in the Stillwater High School Performing Arts Center.
The concert will begin at 4 p.m.
It will feature orchestras from Stillwater Middle School, Stillwater Junior High School and Stillwater High School.
The program will include music from “Pirates of the Caribbean” and a combined performance with the Stillwater High School choirs of a medley of Andrew Lloyd Webber songs from “Phantom of the Opera” and “Jesus Christ, Superstar.”
The high school orchestra will feature Concertmaster Nick Lindley performing the Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the “Carnival” Overture by Antonin Dvorak.
Admission is $5 per person, Children under 5 and fifth grade students are admitted free. The family plan is $15. Tickets are available at the door.
