Trompler

The third annual Trompler Reunion was held June 23 in the Progress Community Center west of Perkins.
The family gathered for a potluck lunch at noon followed by a round of introductions.
Family members spent the day visiting and looking at old family pictures shared by different family members. Jim Droll showed genealogy pictures started by his uncle Wilbur Trompler and passed down to his nephew to keep in the family.
Setting up the reunion were Cloris Davis and her brother, Junior Trompler. The family will meet again on June 28, 2008, at the same location.
Oklahoma residents attending were Gertrude (Trompler) Linsenmeyer, the only living descendant of Ernest and Tillie Trompler, Lee and Ginger Linsenmeyer, David and Sylvia DeWitt and Joey and Rachel Lovekamp and Gunnar, all of Glencoe; Dyke and Wanda Friedemann, Jan and Larry Thomas, Marjorie Friedemann, Bert Trompler, Steve and Nancy Trompler and James, Jason Linsenmeyer and Megan Murry and Braelyn, all of Stillwater; Cloris Davis, Perkins; Jimmy and Dianna Davis, Coyle; Ronnie Davis and Allen Bergstrasser, Purcell; Jill Datin, Kimberly and Rebecca, Guthrie; Irene Overbey, Norman; Victor and Janice Wolff, Bartlesville; Brent and Jenny Haken, Wellston; Jimmy and Joy Droll and Charlie and Sheila Trompler, Tulsa; Janie Blake, Bristow; and Wilma Trompler, Chickasha.
Those attending from out of state were Junior Trompler, Granois Mills, Mo.; Robert Friedemann, Dallas, Ore.; Wayne and Pam Linsenmeyer and Joshua, Hurst, Texas; Donald and Betty Ann Trompler, San Antonio, Texas; and Lester and Ida Rose, Perryville, Ark.
