Helping hands

April 25, 2008 11:01 am

On Saturday, hundreds of volunteers from Church of the Harvest will be helping the communities of Oklahoma City, Midwest City, Edmond and Stillwater. The day is called “Serv-olution Saturday” and its purpose is to reach out to the community and help people in need.
“Church of the Harvest’s goal is to meet the practical needs in our communities,” said Kirk Pankratz, Church of the Harvest senior pastor.
Volunteers in Stillwater will help Backyard Renovations, a Stillwater organization that helps community members with painting, minor construction, landscaping and removing debris. Several will work at Stillwater’s Mission of Hope to complete minor renovations, sort food and prepare meals.
