• The photography of Paul McEntire, a graduate of Stillwater High School, can currently be seen in the north gallery at the Oklahoma State Capitol.
The exhibit, “Life Reflected,” features McEntire’s photos from trips to Tanzania, Romania, Ecuador and Cambodia.
McEntire grew up in Stillwater and learned to develop and print his own photos as a student of journalism teacher Marjorie Jones at Stillwater High School.
His work will be on display through Sunday.

Philip Gipson, Stillwater, was recognized for academic achievement at the annual Honors Day convocation at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.
He is a junior studying chemistry and mathematics. A graduate of Stillwater High School, he is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Terry A. Gipson.

Army Pvt. Ryan C. Disney has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
He is the son of Judy Kelley and Keith Disney, both of Stillwater, and a 2003 graduate of Stillwater High School.

Kaitlyn Fields, Stillwater, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring quarter at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Ga.

Stephanie Mitchell, Stillwater, received a $1,000 Chick-fil-A Leadership Scholarship from Chick-fil-A franchised operator Merlin Phillips in Stillwater. She is the third team member from the location to receive a scholarship.
She is studying elementary education at Northern Oklahoma College.

Ezekiel Eastman was named to the College of Arts and Sciences’ Dean’s List for the second semester of the 2007-08 academic year at Loyola University of Chicago.
He has a double major in theater and theology. He is the son of Ken and Laurie Eastman, Stillwater.
