Lewis named to Rimington watch list

— NEW YORK — The Rimington Trophy committee has released its 2008 Spring Watch List and Oklahoma State center Andrew Lewis is included.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound junior opened the first three games of the 2007 season at left guard and moved to center for the final 10 contests. His development was critical to the Cowboy offense that ranked seventh nationally in total offense, eighth nationally in rushing and allowed just 11 sacks in 13 games.
There are 42 players on the list including seven from the Big 12. The winner will be honored at the Rimington Trophy presentation banquet at the Rococo Theatre in Lincoln, Neb. on Jan. 17.
