Geraldine Margaret Slifer

— Geraldine Margaret Slifer, 80, of Cushing, was born on July 22, 1927, in Louisville, Ky., to Ebra and Mary (Meredith) Wilson.
She grew up and attended schools in Pine Grove, Ky.
She married Howard Payne in 1946 in Louisville.
She later married Charles Slifer.
She loved bowling and loved people.
Her occupation as a cashier, throughout her entire life, made her love of people most enjoyable.
Geraldine passed from this life and into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, in Stillwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Howard and Charles.
She is survived by one son, Richard Payne of Cushing.
Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
