— Virginia Lee Duvall, 85, of Stillwater, died on Friday, May 2, 2008, in Stillwater. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Strode Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stanley M. Warfield Jr. officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday in Los Angeles National Cemetery, Los Angeles, Calif. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on Sept. 11, 1922, in Kansas City, Kan., to John R. Maupin and Mary L. Hayes. She married David E. Duvall in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1959.
She was preceded in death by her father, John R. Maupin; mother, Mary L. Hayes; husband, David E. Duvall; and one brother, Robert Duvall.
She is survived by one son, David John Duvall of Stillwater; one daughter, Donna Jane Abee and her husband, Ralph, of El Cerrito, Calif.; three grandchildren, Steven Abee and his wife, Catherine, of Los Angeles, Jeremiah Abee of El Cerrito and Laura Duvall of Stillwater; two great grandchildren, Penelope Uribe-Abee of Los Angeles and Maya Uribe-Abee of El Cerrito; and one brother, Richard Maupin of Dallas, Texas.
