Geraldine Hart Rhodes
Geraldine Hart Rhodes went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, April 15, 2008.
Gerry was born in Enid on July 25, 1922, to Geneva and Mason Hart. She was the fourth of five children in a loving and caring family. She grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1940. Gerry was a devoted daughter, sister, mother and wife. Many of her activities revolved around her family as she raised her four children. She loved volunteer work and spent many hours volunteering for the hospital auxiliary, elementary schools and church clubs.
Gerry was united in marriage to Kenneth Noah Domnick in 1941 and lived for many years in Tulsa and Stillwater. In 1976. Gerry married William “Bill” Rhodes and resided in Canoga Park, Calif., Boulder City, Nev. and Sapulpa. Gerry delighted in family gatherings and welcomed any and all opportunities to be with her children and grandchildren.
Gerry is survived by her children, Dannye Sue Domnick of Tulsa, Darrel Domnick and wife, Ellen, Stillwater, David Domnick and wife, Nicole, Sarasota, Fla., Debbie Snider, Jenks, Gail Miner and husband, Monte, Palos Verdes, Calif. and William Rhodes, Santa Clarita, Calif. She is the grandmother of Kellye Johnson and husband, Todd, Tulsa, Kristye McKinney and husband, Chuck, Sapulpa and Kerrye Morrison and husband, Michael, Jenks, Darbi Sefcik, Stillwater, Ryan Domnick and wife, Jill, Lawrence, Kan., Noah Domnick, Stillwater, Beau Snider and wife, Laynie, Edmond, Zach Snider and Luke Snider, Jenks and Max Miner, Palos Verdes, Calif.; sisters, Dorothy Mason of Edmond and Jody Bernhardt Hayes of Stillwater.
Graveside service will be Wednesday in Green Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery in Sapulpa at 12:30. A memorial service will be held in Asbury United Methodist Church at 2 in the afternoon.
A donation can be made in Gerry’s honor to the Asbury Church Foundation in lieu of flowers.
