Lois L. Langford

Lois L. Langford, 87, of Stillwater died on Thursday, April 10, 2008 in Stillwater. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. Norman Richmond officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Dec. 1, 1920 in Jones to Rube Evans and Iola (Haley) Evans. She married Vent Alec Langford on July 7, 1939 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1984.

She was an assistant in a chemistry lab and a member of the Baptist church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Harley Evans; and one sister, Margaret Evans.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Langford of Stillwater; one daughter, Treva Kratzer of Oklahoma City; one brother, Ophni Evans of Choctaw; four sisters, Gorgie Rodman Oklahoma City, Geneva Towsend of Wellston, Berneice Eaton of Choctaw, and Shirley Eaton of Lexington; and two grandchildren, Kent Kratzer of Oklahoma City and Kellie (Kratzer) Williams of Marietta, Ga.; and four great-grandchildren.
