Sheila Ann Meisenheimer

Sheila Ann Meisenheimer, longtime employee of Oklahoma State University, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008, in the Cushing Regional Hospital at the age of 51 years.
The daughter of the late Argus Yandell and Halla Mae Morgan Yandell, Sheila was born Sept. 8, 1956, in El Cerrito, Calif., and was reared and educated in Fairfax, attending and graduating from Fairfax High School where she was a cheerleader.
She was united in marriage to Mike Meisenheimer Oct. 6, 1978, in Tulsa.
Sheila had worked for Hughes Lumber Company for several years prior to going to work at OSU, working in several different departments with the University.
She was a member of the First Christian Church; she enjoyed being a lifeguard when she was younger; was an avid animal lover; and she loved to go bowling with her friends and family.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Meisenheimer of the home; one son, Steven Meisenheimer and his wife, Angela, of Norman; one grandchild, Emili; her brothers and sisters, Louise Allen of Richardson, Texas, Ilene Roe and her husband, Mundy, of Stillwater, Karen Jackson and her husband, Chris, of Richardson, Tony Yandell and Donnie Yandell, both of Stillwater; her mother-in-law, Katherine Meisenheimer of Neosho, Mo.; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Virgil “Jiggs” Garner; an infant brother, Paul Dean Yandell; and one brother, Argus Yandell Jr.
Celebration of her life will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the First Christian Church with Dr. Larry Haney, officiating.

Services are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home.
