June L. Williamson

Oklahoma City resident June L. Williamson died Thursday, March 20, 2008, in Oklahoma City. She passed on the first day of Spring and is reborn in the Kingdom of Heaven. Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of the Servant. Interment followed in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary directed the arrangements.
She was born in Stillwater Feb. 8, 1933, to parents William Henry and Emily Julia Kuechenmeister; she was the youngest and longest surviving of their four daughters and one son.
June was raised in Stillwater and attended Oklahoma State University. She married her high school sweetheart, Wilburn L. Williamson, Jan. 23, 1953, and they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage together until his death March 12, 2003. Her days were filled with being a homemaker and mother.
Her activities and hobbies included bowling, golf, ceramics, bridge and caring for the many family pets. She volunteered her time at Church of the Servant and Mercy Health Center.
June is survived by her only child, Michael Dean Williamson and his wife, Luann; a close family of in-laws and a number of nieces and nephews and their families, as well as a multitude of dear friends.
She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. We love you Mom!
