Louisiana woman wins
A Shreveport, La., woman recently won a limited edition of Thomas Mangelsen’s “Spirit of the Mountain” in a drawing to support the Pumarama Conservation Center.
Ardelle Lyons bought her tickets for the drawing in June when she was visiting her daughter in the area.
The Pumarama Conservation Center is being built south of Perkins to provide a permanent home for three cougars, Zinnia, Misty and Elvis, along with educational programs for the public. The drawing was held by The Magical Child Foundation at PetCo, with Leah Hinson, store manager, drawing the winners.
Other winners were Emily Collum, Perkins, two-day, one-night stay at Premier Lake Properties in the Arbuckles; Daniella Grischkowsky, a book, “Kinship with Animals”; Terrisa Skinner, “Tiger Fire”, a 500 piece puzzle by Tom Mangelsen; Margo MacGregar, Stillwater, a Cougar Fund cap; Jacque Savage, Stillwater, a Cougar Fund Thermal Cup; and Ashley Stuck, a Cougar Fund coffee cup.
