Carter services pending
Harold Carter, 74, of Billings, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Services are pending with Dugger Funeral Home of Billings.
Chrisp services
Nina Elsie Chrisp, 88, Cushing, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in Cushing. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Church of God, Cushing, with Pastor Kevin Clouse officiating. Burial will follow in Kendrick Cemetery, Kendrick. Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.
School Web survey ready
The Stillwater Public Schools Web site survey, part of the district’s comprehensive communications assessment, is available at www.spsassessment.com. All people with an interest in Stillwater schools are encouraged to take the survey.
Registration deadline
Oklahoma State University is offering an “Integrated Pest Management for the Landscape Professional” conference May 28 at the OSU Botanical Garden located west of Stillwater. Early registration is $60 and must be postmarked by May 16. Oklahoma Botanical Garden members, county Extension educators and Master Gardeners may register for $45. Registration fee is $80 after May 16. Contact Stephanie Larimer at 744-5404 for more information. The conference will begin in the OSUBG Educational Center and lunch will be provided.
