— Khen Rinpoche, head abbot of the Tashi Lhungpo Buddhist monastery in India, speaks Tuesday about the principal tenets of Buddhism in the Oklahoma State University Student Union. The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, appointed Rinpoche to his position. Rinpoche visited Stillwater and Tulsa to raise funds for the monastery, which was forced to relocate to India after the Chinese occupation of Tibet in 1959.
