Forward thinking leader

— As the retired county assessor, current chairman of the Payne County sales tax committee, and vice chair of the Payne County Election Board, I would like to strongly encourage you to vote for Glenna Craig as our next Payne County clerk.
I feel it is my duty and obligation as a retired county officer and chair holder to express my support for Glenna Craig as the best candidate for clerk. I have known Glenna Craig for many years. I have admired her leadership, knowledge of county government, professionalism, managerial skills and customer service policies which I have had the privilege of witnessing first hand in my various county capacities. Glenna is a forward thinking leader that has earned not only the respect of the community, but of her staff, precinct officials and other government leaders.
Glenna has invaluable county officer’s experience, land record background and knowledge of county government that will be essential to the duties of the county clerk. As chairman of the Payne County sales tax committee, I commend Glenna on her efforts to always be a conscientious steward of our tax dollars. It was on the recommendation of Glenna Craig that the county sales tax election be held with the Presidential Preferential Primary which saved the taxpayers of Payne County $17,000.
I know Glenna will always put the citizens and the county residents first and foremost. It is without reservation that I encourage all Democrats to vote for Glenna Craig July 29.
