Freedom of speech

Concerning a letter to the editor on May 3 by Myriam White entitled “Praises freedom of speech.”
Don’t blame anyone because of their feelings. Freedom of speech works both ways. It sounds like you want your cake and to eat it too. In this lifetime, it doesn’t work that way.
I have a favorite expression that a white horse will someday come rushing in, scoop me up and carry me off into the sunset. There is fear and that is what people feel about Barack Obama.
Here is what I know. Obama has a broad, engaging smile; a budding personality; a wife and two children; two questionable friends and has never said I divorce these so called friends — they will never grace the White House!
Whoever goes in the White House will also bring what he was, what he is and what he will be. Do the people think Obama is a white horse and he will carry us off to easy street? As CSI Grissom says, “look on the outside of the box.”
Be you crook, drug dealer or conservative, birds of a feather flock together. According to law, if you are captured with them, by association you could also be guilty.
