From the outside looking in, it seems to me that there is great cooperation in this town. An example is the Stillwater Medical Center helping all of us with the non-emergency ambulance transfers, which takes some of the pressure off our firefighters.
The franchise tax from OGE and CREC helps pay for some of our police and firefighters and other city services.
The reopening of Hall of Fame is to be looked forward to and the agreement for the athletic village property utilities and right of ways will allow its development in an orderly fashion.
It seems to me that progress is being made on our water problems. There even may be an area 522 emergency district formed.
The Bus is providing a needed service and ridership seems to be rising. Stillwater is growing and all parties are trying to help each other.
It is great to see this spirit of cooperation.
