Nancy Amanda Roberts
Nancy Amanda Roberts, 89, of Stillwater, died on Friday, June 27, 2008, in Stillwater. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday in Strode Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Owen Cayton officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on May 18, 1919, in Muskogee, to Frank Hendricks and Mary (Watts) Hendricks. She married George Leonard Roberts on Oct. 18, 1938, in Muskogee. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 1989.
She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was employed by Moore Business Forms as a bookkeeper.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by three sons, George Roberts and his wife, Carol, of Mesa, Ariz., Joel Roberts of Chandler, Ariz. and Charles Roberts of Spring, Texas; one grandchild; one brother, Nathaniel Hendricks of Cottonwood, Ariz.; and one sister, Florence Downs of San Diego, Calif.
