• Smith-Toves

Hannah Bethany Keyser Smith and Jonathan Larry Quentanilla Toves will wed Saturday, June 14, 2008, at 6 p.m. in First Church of the Nazarene in Stillwater.

They are the children of Charles and Linda Smith and David and Karen Pierson.

A Chamoran-style reception will follow at the home of the bride’s parents.



• Jacobson-Evans

Taryn Ann Jacobson, Oklahoma City, and Thomas Scott Evans, Bethany, will wed Saturday, June 28, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. on Willard Terrace at Oklahoma State University.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bert and LeAnn Jacobson, Stillwater. The groom-to-be is the son of Jon and Christy Evans.

Jacobson graduated from Stillwater High School in 2002 and from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in apparel design. She is a designer for Chateau Home in Oklahoma City.

Evans graduated from Putnam City Original High School in 2002 and from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He works for Poe and Associates in Oklahoma City.

A reception will be at the Wes Watkins Center.



• Jones-York

Tarissa K Lynn Jones and Nicholas Alexander York, both of Stillwater, will wed Saturday, June 21, 2008, on her family’s farm on The Demaree Hill.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ferrald and Paula Jones, Stillwater. She is the granddaughter of Pat Demaree, Stillwater, and the late Don Demaree and the late Lester and Gladys Jones. The groom-to-be is the son of Steve and Julie York, Gilmer, Texas. He is the grandson of Bob and Shirley York, Coffeyville, Kan., and Tom and Lois Olzawski, Tulsa.

Jones graduated from Stillwater High School in 2004 and from Oklahoma State University with an education degree in 2008. She works for U.S. Cellular in Stillwater.

York attended Gilmer (Texas) High School and graduated from Stillwater High School in 2004. He attends OSU and intends to graduate with a degree in sports management. He is a student equipment manager for OSU football.
