— Danny Murray, 54, of Tryon, died on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in Tulsa. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the Tryon Cemetery with Dr. Norman Richmond officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born on Nov. 28, 1953, in Cushing, to Laverne Eugene Murray and Ruth Ellen (Smith) Murray.
He married Cindy Lanier in November of 1977 in California.
He was a welder and worked in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by parents; ex-wife, Cindy; one infant son, Justin Lee Murray; and two brothers, Jerry Leon Murray and Gary Wayne Murray. He was also preceded in death by several close friends.
He is survived by one son, Jason Murray of Thomas; one daughter, Misty Hudson of Weatherford; two granddaughters, Hailey Hudson of Weatherford and Danielle Levine of Mountain View; and one brother, Jack Murray and his wife, Carol, of Perkins.
