Adams services
Allene Ryan McCurley Adams, 95, Tulsa, formerly of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Tulsa. Services, under the direction of Stockdale Funeral Chapel in Rogers, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Sylvia Ireland officiating. Burial will be in Oakley Chapel Cemetery in Rogers.
Sohrwide rites pending
Mary Jo Sohrwide, 52, of Stillwater, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Tulsa. Services are pending with Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home.
Traffic restriction
Austin Paving, City of Stillwater’s contractor, will be restricting traffic along 32nd Avenue from Sangre to Western. The roadway will be closed to all traffic from Western Avenue to 2800 W. 32nd Avenue Wednesday through July 31. The closure is necessary as part of the 32nd Avenue reconstruction project. Road overlay
APAC, City of Stillwater’s contractor, will restrict traffic along Westbrook Estates. APAC will begin milling existing asphalt surface, performing spot patching at various locations, followed by overlaying the roadway from now until Nov. 6. Construction traffic will be evident throughout the project, and it will be necessary for portions of various streets within the neighborhood to be restricted to one lane during construction. In order to facilitate the construction process and maintain the project schedule, we ask that residents refrain from parking on the street throughout the duration of the project.
