Payne County commissioners held a special meeting Tuesday to discuss and take possible action on purchase orders, cash appropriations, transfers and a bid for health department security services.
The commissioners approved the purchase orders for all three districts. They also approved the transfer of $600,000 of budgeted money from the general fund into an account set up for the maintenance and operations of the jail.
The cash appropriation figures were not ready. They were approved Wednesday morning.
The commission also voted to accept William Belford’s bid for Health Department security services at $15 per hour.
The Payne County Facilities Authority also met Tuesday, and voted to renew the builders risk insurance policy through ACCO Property and Liability insurance. This will cover the county through the completion of the three phases of renovations and building of the new Payne County Courthouse building.
