• TOPS OK013 had 14 TOPS and four KOPS at its weekly meeting Thursday at the Payne County Health Department.
The TOPS best loser was Jackie Baird. The KOPS best loser was Gayle Hill. The monthly best loser was Patty Pappan.
The group will have a garage sell Oct. 4.

• Stillwater Art Guild members have shown their work in several exhibits around Stillwater and won several awards.
September around town art exhibits are Sherrill Lewis, Bank N.A.; Kathryn Jones, Dr. Heath Reese office; Velma Sanders, Stillwater National Bank drive-through lobby; Mary Red, Stillwater Public Library; and Russ Sharrock, Stillwater Medical Center doctor’s lounge.
Roxanne Parrow won grand champion in photography at the Payne County Fair. She also won first place for a digitally enhanced photo and for the Stillwater Art Guild brochure.
Parrow and Stuart Harrison were in the “Snap To It” Photography Show at Exhibit One Gallery at 102 N. Main.
Kathy Vargis and daughter Tracy Ennis exhibited at Multi Arts during the summer. In the Fiber Arts Exhibition, each entered a photo transfer and patchwork pillow. Vargis had a beaded duster with embellishments.
Jude Tolar won third place this summer for her still life, “Cockscomb: Planning for the Next Year,” at the Oklahoma Pastel Society’s Spring Show on Paseo in Oklahoma City. She also entered and won the poster contest for the Oklahoma Art Guild for its July 4 Art on the Bricktown Canal event. The pastel is titled, “Summertime on the Bricktown Canal” and features the Devon Bridge. She also participated in the event, painting en plain air in pastels on the canal.
