Air Evac Lifeteam to speak to NARFE

The Payne County Chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) will meet in the New China Buffet Restaurant May 16 at 11 am. Current federal employees and federal retirees interested in protecting their earned health and retirement benefits are encouraged to attend.
Jill Burks, regional membership manager, will speak to the group concerning services offered by Air Evac Lifeteam, where their Oklahoma bases are located and the benefits of becoming a member of this life-saving service.
Air Evac Lifeteam is one of America’s fastest growing air medical membership programs in the country. They cover parts of 12 states with 75 bases and over 100 helicopters.
Burks started with Air Evac Lifeteam in June 2005 as a membership coordinator in Elk City. She was promoted to her current position as regional manager in October 2006 and manages all membership aspects for the Oklahoma and North Texas region. She and her husband reside in Western Oklahoma.
