Hastings is hosting book signings for two local writers on Saturday.
Lori Z. Scott and Jewel Sample will both sign copies of their books Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Scott, award-winning author and teacher’s aide at Westwood Elementary, will be signing the first two titles in her new children’s book series, “Meghan Rose on Stage!” and “Meghan Rose Has Ants in Her Pants.”
Sample’s newest release is “Flying Hugs and Kisses Activity Book,” an accompaniment to her picture book, “Flying Hugs and Kisses.”
It is filled with coloring and writing exercises to help elementary children ease through grief.
