Two artists show work at Town and Gown

— Now showing in the Town and Gown Theater Art Gallery are paintings by Velma Sanders and jewelry made by Tom Sanders.
The gallery is open during the business hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and show hours of 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday matinee. The show opened Thursday and will continue Thursday through Saturday with matinees today and Dec. 9 at 2:30 p.m.
The theater is located at 3524 S. Perkins. The art gallery is free.
Velma Sanders has received numerous awards and has received extensive commissions for portraits. She is the president of Stillwater Art Guild and a member since 1984.
Tom Sanders produces cut and polished stones made into belt buckles, bola ties, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants and also specializes in emblematic belt buckles and bola ties. He works in sterling silver and turquoise. He has added making glass beads and fused glass.
Their work may also be seen at Countryside Studio and Gallery at 4421 S. Husband.
