Playing chamber music at the Sheerar Museum

The Sheerar Museum and the St. Cecilia Federated Music Club began a series of Cool Classics chamber music concerts on Friday.

Upcoming concerts will be on Friday and on July 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sheerar Museum auditorium.

On Friday, the Eskitch Duo will perform, with Paulo Eskitch on violin and Allyson Eskitch on piano. Joining them will be Lou Lynch on cello.

They will play Mozart and Greig sonatas and the Smetana Trio in G minor.

On July 25, the Cimarron Chamber Players, who kicked off the 2008 series on Friday, will perform again, with Perry Gethner on piano, Bob Miller on clarinet and Mahlon Halleck on viola.

They will play Bruch Trios, Beethoven’s Notturno and Intermezzi by Charles Stanford.

The concerts are free and open to the public. A reception will follow each event.
