Band gives salute to movie hero

— Stillwater Community Band will salute Indiana Jones at its third concert of the summer season Thursday.
The band will play at 7:30 p.m. on the Stillwater Public Library east lawn.
The musical styles of the concert will focus on this character, including the titles “Ancient Voices,” “Carpathian Sketches,” “Temple of Sinewava” and “Crossings in Time.” The concert will conclude with the “Raiders March” by John Williams, from the original “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
As is tradition, there will be a children’s march.
Admission is free.
