Organ recital set Thursday

Gerald Frank, professor emeritus of music at OSU, will present an organ recital Thursday at 8 p.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Third and Knoblock.

The program is a preview of a recital Frank will present later this summer in Germany. He has been invited to play for a festival there on an organ built in 1696 and expanded in 1707.

The pieces have been selected specifically to highlight the sounds of the organ and the period in which it was constructed. Music by Bach, Pachelbel and Bruhns comprise the repertoire.

The recital in Stillwater will be informal in nature. It is free and open to the public.
