The Pawnee Bill Ranch will host a brown bag lunch lecture Wednesday on the topic of “Art and Artists of the Pawnee Bill Mansion.”
Gordon W. “Pawnee Bill” Lillie entertained several artists in his home on Blue Hawk Peak, and many pieces of original artwork are displayed in the 1910 mansion.
Anna Davis, a staff historical interpreter, will present the lecture in the conference room of the museum. She will provide a description of some of the major pieces of art in the home and give a biographical background of the artists.
The lecture will be held at noon, and visitors are welcome to bring a lunch.
For more information, call the Pawnee Bill Ranch (918) 762-2513. The Pawnee Bill Ranch is located 1/2 mile west of Pawnee on U.S. 64.
