The Stillwater Children’s Museum and Tin Cup Adventures will bring the “Pioneer Living” exhibit to the Payne County Expo Center on Saturday.
Dozens of artifacts and hands-on activities will be featured, and visitors are encouraged to touch.
Activities include panning for fool’s gold, carding and hand spinning yarn, making a bead necklace, shaving with a lather brush, grinding corn into flour, playing with hand-made wooden folk toys, washing clothes on a washboard and rolling out bread dough.
The exhibit will be presented at Family Fun Fest ’08, Smart Start Payne County’s free health and safety fun fair. Family Fun Fest will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
