Carl Lucas, Cleveland, will return to the Pawnee Bill Ranch on Saturday to present a workshop on the frontier skill of flint knapping.
The hands-on workshop, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., will be an introduction to the art of creating primitive tools. Lucas will give systematic instructions on how to fashion stone tools.
The fee for the class is $7, and the class is limited to 30. Participants are asked to bring lawn chairs, safety goggles and gloves. Pre-registration and pre-payment of fee is required to secure a place in the class.
