Book discussion set for Tuesday

The final book in the Let’s Talk About It, Oklahoma series on “Invisibility and Identity: The Search for Self in African American Fiction” will be presented Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Stillwater Public Library reception area.

“The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman” by Ernest Gaines depicts the recollections of a black woman who has experienced a century, from the Civil War to the Civil Rights Movement. Free copies of the book are available for check out at the library’s help desk.

Dr. Paul Lehman, professor emeritus from the University of Central Oklahoma, will lead the discussion. Refreshments and small group discussions will follow.
