First ballroom dance

— Heather Hines and Sam Stropes of Stillwater experienced their first ballroom dance in February. The Idella Lohmann Ballroom Dance Club of Stillwater will host its next dance Friday in First United Methodist Church’s Family Life Center, Seventh and Duck. Cha cha lessons with a professional dance instructor will be offered at 7 p.m., followed by a dance featuring the Sammy Jensen Orchestra from 8 to 11 p.m. Dressy attire or St. Patrick's Day theme attire is appropriate. Women are asked not to wear high-heeled shoes to protect the floor.
