Art Guild to see acrylic demo

Christopher Westfall will demonstrate acrylic techniques for the Stillwater Art Guild at its monthly meeting Monday.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Sheerar Center, Seventh and Duncan.
Westfall is a self-taught fine artist working predominately in acrylics. He entered his first juried art festival at the age of 15.
His work has been accepted in many national juried art competitions including the annual Arts for Parks competition. In 2003, his piece “Unmended Fences” was selected into the “Top 100” of the national art competition.
Westfall has exhibited in many juried art festivals throughout Oklahoma. His original paintings and giclee reproductions can be found in private and corporate collections. His work is represented by the M.A. Doran Gallery in Tulsa.
The meeting is open to the public. First-time visitors to the Stillwater Art Guild may attend free as the guest of a member. There is a $5 charge for other guests.
