Models wanted

• Researcher seeking women who are willing to be measured

Change is inevitable and research is being conducted at Oklahoma State University to update clothing charts that were established in the 1940s.

Adriana Petrova, a researcher in design, housing and merchandising at OSU, is conducting research to update the measurement charts for misses sizes, which were established in the ’40s.

She is completing her Ph.D. at Cornell University; this is a joint project between the two universities.

Participants are being sought to help in this study. Researchers are looking for women who would like to participate in a study on sizing and fit of women’ s jackets by the department of design, housing and merchandising.

Participation will take about 20 minutes. Participants need to be 26 to 55 years old, 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, bust below 41 inches and hips below 43 inches.

Participants will be asked to have their height, weight, bust and hip measurements taken and try on four jackets.

They will then be photographed in each jacket and comment on the fit of the jackets. Participants in the study will receive a tote as a gift and a chance to participate in a lottery drawing for a $30 gift card (1 in 10 will win).
