Johnson

Gary and Emalee Johnson, Stillwater, will celebrate their 40th anniversary today.

They were married in Watonga on March 2, 1968.

They have one son, Chris Johnson; two daughters, Denise Lofton and Jennifer Gilliland; and two sons-in-law, Richard Lofton and Jeff Gilliland. Their grandchildren are Joshua, Ryan and Danielle Lofton and Garrett, Gavin and Emalee Gilliland.

Both were raised in Oakwood near Watonga and moved to Stillwater to attend Oklahoma State University. They have lived in Stillwater since marriage except for a year in Durant and one in Kansas.

Johnson has been director of Stillwater Regional Airport since 1986. Previously, he was a flight instructor and chief pilot for Universal Aviation and Stillwater Flight Center. Mrs. Johnson has been administrative assistant to the president of Stan Clark Cos. for 16 years.
